Weekly Crock Pot Challenge

This blog carnival originated at my personal blog, Pink...Like the Color. I have decided to move it here to my cooking/recipe blog. No button this week as I am having it re-designed for this site.

For those new to this, what is my weekly crock pot challenge? I have taken a personal challenge to use my crock pot twice a week. I love that dinner is waiting for us when we get home for the day. I usually can also get enough for another meal. How easy for busy families? It's great! I have decided to extend this challenge to my readers. You don't have to use it twice a week, but even going for once a week is good too.

Anyway, this week I am going for really easy. Who am I kidding? I go for easy EVERY week. Here's this week's recipes:

Italian Chicken

You need:
1 lb chicken breasts (can still be frozen)
26 ounces of spaghetti sauce

Directions:

Put chicken breasts in crock pot Cover with spaghetti sauce. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve on your favorite fun noodles with salad and garlic bread.

Sloppy Joes

You need:
1 lb hamburger
1 can sloppy joe sauce

Directions:
Brown hamburger and put in crock pot. Cover with sloppy joe sauce and stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Notes:
I am doubling this recipe so that we can have some for the following week. You can adjust for however many people you are serving. Great for parties or potlucks.

Share your crock pot recipe(s) for the week! Write about them on your site and sign the Mr. Linky below. Hopefully we can all get some great meal ideas from each other.

I posted a crockpot recipe to my blog recently. Because I'm lazy, I'm just going to put the link here, okay? :))

Great idea, by the way. If I could find more ways to use the crockpot, I would. Now's when I wish I'd hung on to those old crockpot cookbooks (now I've dated myself!).
